27th February 2018 - CD Cover Concept
Introduction
On this page i will attempt to create different concepts of CD Cover art with other people's photos that i find, these will almost exactly represent each cover side i will create myself, getting an idea of how different concepts will look in my eyes, giving a creative range which will then be narrowed down.
Concept Art 1
In a lot of the music video, it portrays the narrative in a lot of shots during sunset, this enhances the shots in my opinion and further reinforces the connotations of an era ending (the era of problems in this case for the character). Sunsets are also very appreciated by most people and considered beautiful, this is also one reason i decided to have a sunset throughout this cover. The main character and their dog would be on the front cover with the name of the song 'Heroes', if i decide to choose this concept, i would have the name of the song just as large and in the same position as it stands out to people looking at it, as well as it contrasts with the colours of the background, giving the title more significance over the wallpaper. The front cover would show the character standing on a hill with their dog, looking at the sunset. As in this case it was difficult to get specific photos to look the same with others, it is slightly unclear for my intentions of the other sides. I would cover the rest in a panorama shot of the sunset over the hill which the two are standing on, each shot being slightly unique but being the same. More specifically, the further the reader gets through the CD Cover, the further you reach the end of the cover the lower the sun would reach until eventually, the last side of the cover which would show the concept photo below the title above, with the sun completely set with the light fading away, the entire panorama would be through time of a dying sunset which again would further connote towards the end of an era, as well as look like a decent cover art which is entirely unique to the story.

As i plan to use stop motion animation for a lot of shots, it would make sense to use some as cover art for my album, the entire shot would be a close up or extreme close up of just a wall, completely covered in pieces of paper having problems like 'bills, tax, job' on them as if it were wallpaper. It would really reinforce the narrative of the story on the art and possibly look quite good.
