Chosen song My chosen song will be 'Heroes', originally performed by David Bowie, but the version i will use is a cover by Peter Gabriel. This version is a lot slower and more moving. Peter Gabriel sings the lyrics at a much slower pace and the music is at a much slower pace, being performed mostly by violin. My intentions for my music video will be a character facing first world problems like bills, tax, underpaying job and having no freedom. This will be represented in pieces of paper which will develop around his home, representing their significance through their growth and how they engulf their surroundings, the video will thens how the character leaving everything and going on an adventure with his dogs, getting away from all of his problems, this being travelling across the countryside and leaving his home.

Introduction This page will explain in full detail the start of what i might potentially create with the narrative and song of 'Chances'. What it is The first thing the audience will see when watching the music video will be a black screen, at that moment the song will start. The piano will start to play and the title of the song will be in big white writing across the screen, still with the black background saying 'Chances', this will stay up on the screen for the next 9 seconds, changing in time with the music. Next instead of 'Chances' it will say 'By Athlete', there will be a simple transition of just appearing.This will last until 12 seconds in. The screen will stay the same whilst the piano plays in the background for a third and the last time in which the writing would now say 'Directed & Produced by Jacob Price' cutting to the actual footage at 18 second in. Star image, making them the main attention through different camera shots The first step in the process to decipher these aspects is to analyse the structure o the chorus and verses. The second step is the voice of the artist and how it differs from others, making itself unique which gives the artist identification which links to their star image.
